Removing the control board

The sequence of actions is as follows:
- De-energize the washing machine by pulling the power cord out of the socket,
- Turn off the shut-off valve supplying water to the washing machine,
- Disconnect the device from the water supply and sewerage system,
- Remove the top cover of the case by removing a couple of screws that secure it,
- Remove the detergent dispenser from the machine,
- Remove the bolts holding the instrument panel,
- Carefully remove the control panel from the housing,
- Take a photo of how the wires are connected between the instrument panel and the control module,
- Disconnect the wires from the control panel and set it aside,
- Unscrew the screws securing the electronic unit,
- Remove the control module from the washing machine.
You can replace the element without removing the control module from the washing machine. It is easy to select a fuse - in the store, just say the model and serial number of the LG washing machine. After the repair, you need to assemble the washing machine in the reverse order, focusing on the photos taken.
